About the film
Billie is a short film that explores the impact gambling can have from the perspective of the effected other. The story that unfolds is about Billie on the cusp of her 16th birthday as her whole world gets put into a spin. The film draws from the ideas and inspirations from a range of young people from Scottish High Schools.

‘Billie’ was made in partnership between Fast Forward, Scottish Gambling Education Hub and Rolled Up Productions and funded by GambleAware and is the 2nd film produced with this partnership ‘Trust Me’ being released in 2021 and is available to watch here.
The high quality, peer inspired piece is both engaging and relevant. The overarching intention of the film is to pose questions and invoke discussions. To accompany the film a range of workshops, session plans, supporting material and training for schools and youth work environments across Scotland is available by the Scottish Gambling Education Hub.
