Gambling Education Youth Fund

Gain up to £1000 to create and run your own gambling education and prevention initiative

Fast Forward and the Scottish Gambling Education Hub are delighted to offer a funding programme for groups of young people across Scotland.

The Gambling Education Youth Fund can provide up to £1000 for groups of young people to create and run their very own gambling education and prevention initiative. For example, the money could be used for reasonable expenses used in the course of delivering the project, such as:

  • Materials or technology needed for the project
  • Training to learn new skills
  • Food and refreshments for participants

We are committed to diversity and inclusivity. We welcome applications from groups run by or including LGBTQ+ communities, religious, cultural, or faith-based communities, and people with disabilities.

If you have an idea for a project to increase awareness and understand of gambling-related issues, we want to hear from you!

Who is it for?

Groups of young people (aged 11-25) based in Scotland. We will also consider applications from groups of parents and caregivers based in Scotland.

Fund criteria

Is led by, or involves a group of young people aged 12-25.
Takes place in Scotland.
Facilitated by a Scottish community project, organisation or educational institution.
Detailed budget breakdown should be included (e.g. itemised stationary, fuel, meals and technology costs).

Ready to apply?

Click apply now to complete the form online. If you'd like any further information, get in touch with Fran at fran@fastforward.org.uk.

We encourage young people to fill out this funding application themselves. However, we require an adult staff member (youth worker/teacher/support staff) to take responsibility for the project delivery and any money awarded. If this poses any issues, please get in touch.
