CPD training for your team

The Hub provides bespoke CPD training on gambling harms for staff and volunteer teams, free of charge. It's available to organisations from a variety of health, community, and education settings across Scotland.

You can request a training on gambling education and prevention, or ask us to focus your training session on the links between gambling harms and specific topics relevant to your work. For example: mental health, gaming, or homelessness.

Our custom training sessions are delivered online as webinars. In some cases we can offer in-person sessions - get in touch to let us know what works best for your team.

Your organisation supports people who may be at risk of experiencing gambling harm

"We deal with 19 - 24 year olds as well as older clients that have various barriers including money issues so it is important to have the tools to be able to understand, educate and assist clients that may be facing problems with gambling themselves or with family members.

[Our trainer] was fantastic. His delivery was engaging and he is very knowledgeable on the subject. The content was great and I took a lot from the training that will help me have conversations and support clients moving forward."

Employability Worker

Fife

"I teach across two primary schools. The links that were being made between gaming and gambling were very interesting and something which we can help children and their parents to understand."

Teacher

Highland

"We are seeing a lot more young people who are talking about gambling but they dont really see it as that, they seem to be spending more time online and taking risks with money and their time, which is impacting on their mental health."

Community Worker

Aberdeenshire

"We work with a lot of young people who spend hours on games which costs them a lot of money. This was a very valuable training as we needed it. I feel more able to help young people and adults after having this training."
