Workshops for the people you support
The Hub can provide gambling awareness workshops directly with groups of children, young people, and families your organisation supports. It's free of charge, and available to organisations from a variety of health, community, and education settings across Scotland. We use a range of activities and interactive technology throughout these sessions, to keep participants engaged and support their learning.
We recommend that at least one staff member in your organisation receives our introductory Hidden in Plain Sight training before you book a session for the people you support, to ensure that your organisation is able to provide any further information or signposting needed after the session. While we are happy to lead the session with your group of young people or families, we can also shadow a member of your team to provide support and build your skills in facilitating gambling education.
We can deliver awareness workshops for the people you support in-person in your offices, in another suitable venue, or online as a webinar.
What are they?
In-person gambling awareness workshops for the people your organisation supports. They are designed to be as interactive and engaging as possible, and can be adapted to suit a range of lifestage and accessibility needs.
Who is it for?
Groups of children and young people (up to 25) or families (e.g. parents and caregivers) who are engaged with an organisation based in Scotland.
